Calculators
Coffee calculators
Three calculators: how much coffee for your water, how much caffeine in a day and what a cup at home costs. They work in your browser and send nothing.
Coffee and water
Pick a method or set a ratio, then change the water or the coffee — the other one is worked out.
15,6 g + 250 ml
SCA for filter: 55 g of coffee per litre of water ±10% — about 1:18. Espresso is counted by the yield in the cup; the usual guide is 1:2.
Caffeine in a day
Mark what you drink in a day. The amount of caffeine in a cup depends a lot on the beans and the recipe — hence the range.

EFSA levels for healthy adults: up to 400 mg a day and up to 200 mg at a time; in pregnancy and while breastfeeding up to 200 mg a day; children and teenagers up to 3 mg per kg of body weight. The robusta phin is an estimate from the caffeine in the bean (IARC): there are no measurements. This is not medical advice.
